Big congrats to London and Hiland on her last Q in Excellent JWW preferred to get her AJP title! She earned the title with a first place also, and is one of only a handful of Ibizans to have earned this.

Thea decided to surprise everyone and pull out all the stops, finishing her AKC Field Championship from the veteran class! Congratulations to Sam!
Thea is from the 2015 Fly Litter. Congratulations to Fable and MacKenzie! Fable ran great this weekend in Limestone, TN, and walked away as a new ASFA Field Champion!
Fable is from the 2020 Mind Litter. Fly is proving that you can not only teach a good old Beezer new tricks, but they can excel at them. Today in GA, Fly got 6 Qs and finished his Advanced Container, Advanced Interior and Advanced Buried titles. He got 4 placements as well- a 1st in Interior, a 1st and 2nd in buried and a 4th in containers. The icing on the cake was Fly being the only one of 15 dogs to qualify in a buried run. Buried was particularly challenging this trial as it was not only outside, but was in a field and windy. Super proud of this boy!
Congrats to London & Hiland! London earned her last Q in Open JWW today, as well as first place. This finished her OJP title!
London is from the 2020 Mind Litter. Fable was a superstar in Rally this weekend, earning two second placements and then finishing up his Rally Novice title with a score of 99 for first place. He also qualified for a leg of his Rally Intermediate. Congrats to MacKenzie!
Fable is from the 2020 Mind Litter. It was a successful weekend all around for multiple litters. On the east coast, LGRA & NOTRA Nationals was in Camden, SC. Dean was the Meet Winner at both events, with Niko second and High Score Veteran in LGRA and Ayla second and BOS in NOTRA.
Meanwhile, Cora decided to cooperate in her scentwork trial and finished her Scentwork Novice title, only a weekend behind her sire, Fly! Congratulations, Kara! Cora is from the 2020 Mind Litter. Dean is from the 2016 Double Litter. Ayla is from the 2017 Speed Litter. Niko is from the 2013 Grand Finale Litter. It was a wet and soggy weekend for the Kamar crew, but everyone had a great time at the NLCC. Fable was the star of the weekend, walking away as a new Field Champion, the NLCC BOB Finalist and with two BOBs and a second place in Specials. Halo, Ayla, Phenom, Knots, Gigi also all took their turns in the placements as well, with Gigi and Ayla winning the Kennel Stake and Ayla and Phenom winning the Breeder Stake. Huge congratulations to all!
While the younger Beezers were off lure coursing, Fly had his second weekend of his new sport: Scentwork! He finished his previous weekend with multiple placements, including first placements, but he stepped up his game for this second weekend. Not only did he finish his Scentwork Novice title, but he finished with lots of placements and a High In Trial! This makes him the first Ibizan to achieve this. Fable is from the 2020 Mind Litter. Ayla, Phenom, Halo & Knots are from the 2017 Speed Litter. Gigi is from the 2019 ValbyDane Imagine Litter. Sisters London & Cora had an exciting weekend and walked away with two new titles. London was BOB lure coursing in TN to finish her AKC Field Championship, and Cora earned her first agility title (NAP) with first place and a perfect score. Congratulations to these two talented girls!
Fable also won Open at the TN lure coursing trial the same weekend to get his first lure coursing major. He is officially pointed out and just looking for his last major. London, Cora & Fable are all from the 2020 Mind Litter. Fable made Ibizan history today by becoming the first Ibizan to title in NACSW, which is the original scent work association. In order to earn this title, Fable and Mackenzie had to qualify in all of the searches at the same day of the trial. These consisted of a Container, Interior, Exterior, and Vehicle search, where the dog searches the area and the handler identifies when the dog found the odor source. The handler must alert the judge when the dog has found the scent. Dogs that have an exemplary search can be awarded a "pronounced" designation by a judge, which Fable earned for his Interior search. Fable located all the odors in just over two minutes.
Obviously, this is a special achievement, and we are all very proud of these two! Fable goes on to join cousin Knots in setting new records in scent work! |
