While there were not many Kamar dogs in attendance at the National Specialty this year, there were still some standouts! Fable was entered in a flurry of events with Mackenzie. He performed in AKC/ASFA Lure Coursing, Triathlon, Dual Titled Sweeps, Rally (Excellent and Advanced), and the National Specialty show. In Rally Advanced B, he earned multiple very high scores and ended up both High in Trial and earned his first High Combined award. Ultimately, he won the 2025 IHCUS Triathlon award by a very decisive almost 11 points! Jagger, bred by Sabrina Wright and co-bred by Kamar, won the IHCUS People's Choice award at the Top Twenty event. Dulce won her class at the Specialty and ultimately was awarded Best Puppy in Specialty. That evening, during the Sleepover Specialty, she ended up awarded WB in a large entry for her first five point major. It's great to see her appreciated by breeder judges! Cora excelled in Rally, and she qualified in 6 Rally events in one day and picked up 5 RACH points. 2 High in Trials, 1 High Combined, 2 Qs toward her Rally Master 3 title, 2 Qs to RAE2 title, 2 triple Qs for #14, and 5 RACH points. Fable was a superstar in Rally this weekend, earning two second placements and then finishing up his Rally Novice title with a score of 99 for first place. He also qualified for a leg of his Rally Intermediate. Congrats to MacKenzie! Fable is from the 2020 Mind Litter.   Fable had a fun day at the UKC show today, earning two Group 4s, a Group 2 and a Group 1, as well as two qualifying scores in Rally. This earned him a Total Dog award. Fable is from the 2020 Mind Litter.  Sol earned her Rally Novice title with three consecutive qualifying scores of 94, 89, and 95, finishing with a third placement (as the only hound!). Best of all, she seemed to really enjoy herself the whole time. Sol is from the 2015 Kiss Litter.  Today, Kelia finished her Rally Novice title and also got her first couple legs toward her Rally Intermediate title. Congrats to Karen! Kelia is from the 2012 XXX Litter.

On the opposite coast, Zabra was also showing her more non-traditional hound talents by taking first place and high scoring Ibizan at the Southern Slopes Ibizan Hound Specialty. She also entered lure coursing the same day and was second place in the Specials stake. Congrats, Melanie! In Florida, Kona won open in AKC lure coursing for her first major. Yay, Kona and Tammy! Norma and Zabra are from the 2013 Grand Finale Litter. Kona is from the 2016 Double Litter.
