Scent Work Beezers!

Beezers made a great showing at the Scent Work Trial!

Helix attended his first trial and earned his first Qs!

Junior debuted in advanced and earned 11/12 Qs, 10 placements and three new titles. Most impressively, he earned THREE High in Trials!

Sol performed in Excellent and earned 5/8 Qs and a new title.

Zest finished her Interior Excellent title, earned a couple Excellent Exterior Qs and two Qs and two first placements in Master Exterior!

Sol: NW3

Sol has a great time at the NACSW trial. She got a pronounced in one of her container searches and finished her NW3 Container Element title as well.

On Sunday, a Sol puppy, Kevin, finished her AKC championship in Iowa. Kevin joins Sol's other 4 champions (DC Fable, DC Cora, CH Zest and CH SunTea) to qualify her for the Ibizan Hound Clubs Register of Merit (ROM).

Sol & Junior: Scent Work

Sol and Junior had a great time at one of their favorite games. Sol earned a 3rd place in Advanced Buried, to finish her Scent Work Advanced title. Junior channeled his father, Fly, and placed 1st and 3rd in his Novice Buried runs, to finish his Scent Work Novice title!

Fly, Sol, Junior & Zest Scentwork

It was a great day doing scentwork!

Fly was 3/4 excellent Qs (2 Buried and 1 interior). This finished his Scentwork Excellent Buried title.

Sol was 7/8 Qs... including 6/7 advanced (2 exterior, 2 container, 2 interior and 1 buried) and 1/1 exterior excellent. Sol finished 3 Advanced element titles (exterior, container and interior). She moved up to Excellent exterior and got a 3rd place in a challenging search.

Junior got 7/8 Qs (2 container, 2 buried, 2 exterior and 1 interior). He also got 3 first placements, a 2nd place and a 4th place. He finished 3 titles (Scentwork container novice, interior novice and exterior novice) today as well.

Zest finished her Advanced Exterior and Advanced Interior titles and earned her first Excellent Exterior Q in a particularly challenging search at the end of a long day.

Sol: NACSW Trial

Sol had her first NACSW NW3 trial.

This level is very challenging as we have 6 searches with an unknown # of hides (0 to 3). You need to be perfect with no errors or faults or earn 2 NW3 legs to get the NW3 title.

Sol found 11/11 hides and we had 1 error (ran out of time in one search) but we earned an NW3 leg. We also got pronounced in 2 searches as well which is a special nod from the judges.

Big Sun Litter Weekend

Zest and Sol both participated in Right Choice Dog Training's NW2 in Jefferson today. Both of them completed their NW2 title with Sol earning 3 pronounced searches.

Meanwhile, Kevin went Best of Winners and Best Opposite for her first Major! She is down to just needing one last Major to finish.

Additionally, Flex earned his Novice JWW title today! It was a big weekend for the Sun Litter!

The beezers had a great weekend at the Montgomery Kennel Club Scent Work Trial! The entire beezer crew earned 15 Qs, 11 placements and 6 new titles!

October Scentwork

Several Kamar Beezers have had a very successful October when it comes to Scentwork Trials. Early in the month, Cora was the first Ibizan to achieve the Handler Discrimination Advanced title. She also picked up 5 Qs and 2 more titles. A couple weeks later, London participated in her first trial and qualified in all events. Then Fly, Sol and Zest took part in a trial and had a great time. Zest took part in her first trail and was first place and 3/3 Qs in Containers. Fly finished his Advanced Exterior title, which concluded his overall Advanced title. He then went on to earn 2nd place in Exterior Excellent. Sol, also at her first trial, earned a 1st in Novice Containers & 2nd in Novice Exterior.

Gigi: BIF, New Field Champion

Gigi had a great weekend, finishing her AKC Field Champion title and her Senior Courser title in the same day, and then going on to win Best in Field! Good job representing, Baby G, and tackling those hills in Reidsville!

Ayla was also first place in Specials, with Sol having tied for first but forfeited due to not wanting to aggravate an old injury. Both girls are running machines. On Sunday, Ayla was BOB for LCX points.

FL Lure Coursing Weekend

We had a great weekend in Florida! Knots won his third Best in Field on Saturday, Ayla won Specials both days for 10 LCX points, Sol was second in Specials on Sunday and Gigi was second in Open both days for her first trial and first points. Sol also finished her LCX title and Master Courser.
