On the opposite coast, Zabra was also showing her more non-traditional hound talents by taking first place and high scoring Ibizan at the Southern Slopes Ibizan Hound Specialty. She also entered lure coursing the same day and was second place in the Specials stake. Congrats, Melanie!

In Florida, Kona won open in AKC lure coursing for her first major. Yay, Kona and Tammy!

 The Beezers had a great year, with Kamar dogs ranking in the Top 20 in AKC and ASFA lure coursing, as well as AKC conformation and AKC Owner Handler series.

It was a great weekend at the ASFA Winter Challenge with lots of Kamar placements.

On Thursday in Open, Sol was second place, Dewey was third and Kelia was fourth. In Veterans, Poison was first, Farrah was second and Kenzie was third.

On Friday in Open, Niko was first place and best of breed, Dewey was second, Sol was third and Aiden was NBQ. In FCH, Kelia was second and Deckard was third. In Veterans, Poison was second place, Farrah was third and Kenzie was fourth. Niko was also Best in Field, making him the sixth BIF winner from the 2013 Grand Finale litter and Kenzie's ninth BIF winning offspring. This also marked Kamar's 50th BIF win.

On Saturday in Open, Dewey was second place, Niko was third, Aiden was fourth and Sol was NBQ. In FCH, Fly was second place, Kelia was third and Norma was fourth. In Veterans, Poison was second place, Kenzie was third and Farrah was fourth. 

In Singles, Jasper was first place Friday and Saturday and Rowan was second place.

In California, Risa was BOB once again!

The 2016 Nationals was a big weekend for Kamar, with almost every litter represented.  The week started with Norma in the performance rings, winning the high scoring BN obedience prize and qualifying in agility for second place.  

This was followed by AKC lure coursing, where Norma won the Performance Stake and placed second in her flight. Her brother Niko was fourth in his stake and Thea was fourth place in her stake. 

On the day of the National Specialty, the big excitement of the day was Lava winning Best Of Opposite Sex! Huge congratulations to Alisa on a wonderful job with her! Her brother Niko also made the cut in the breed ring during his debut as a special. Thea and Izzy also won their classes. 

The next day at the supported entry shows, puppy Izzy, from the youngest Kamar litter, wow'd everyone by going WB for her second major! Great job, Sabrina! Lava was also Select.

In ASFA lure coursing, Norma once again won the Performance Stake and was fourth place in her stake. Niko was NBQ.

This was a great weekend all around, with Seren (2015 Fly Litter) winning her first lure coursing point, Lava (2013 Grand Finale Litter) winning BOB for a major and finishing her Field Champion title, and Farrah (2009 Talk Litter) coming out for her first trial after taking several months off for babies to win first place in Field Champions, putting her halfway to her LCX. 

Meanwhile, in VA, Norma (2013 Grand Finale Litter) won BOB and Fch for 40 points at an ASFA trial, and Fenix was second to her on Sunday. 

Risa won her third BIE this weekend over an entry of 71 dogs, making it her second BIE in a row at the Ibizan Hound Classic Specialty. She went on to be AOM and Select at the morning and afternoon shows and on Sunday she was Select, as well as Best Brace in Show with her housemate, Carmen. Big congrats, Risa and Brianne!

This weekend in Perry, Sol debuted in the show ring and was WB Thursday and Friday for her first two points. She finished her weekend with BOW and two more points. Yeah, Soli-bear!

Susan and Norma also had a great day at Perry, getting Norma's first Beginner Novice Obedience Q and finishing her Novice Agility Jumpers title.  They are an amazing team!

Norma had an awesome debut in her agility career, scoring two 100s in Novice Jumpers With Weaves. Big congrats to the amazing team of Norma and Susan!

Meanwhile, Risa was Select Bitch one day and AOM the following day at the Sierra Slopes Ibizan Hound Specialty.  Congrats!

It was a big weekend for the Grand Finale litter, with Risa  winning her ninth Best in Field, Dewey winning her second AKC lure coursing major, and Norma winning first in FCH both days at the ASFA Region 7 Invitational and Ami winning second to her.  Ami also finished her ASFA Lure Courser of Merit title. Congratulations all around!

 in Florida, Norma won her third Best in Field on Saturday. Her sister, Ami, was second place to her in field champions also. On Sunday, Norma wrapped up her exciting weekend by winning Best in Event. Ami was again second place in Field Champions. Congrats to the little red girls! Both are from the 2013 Grand Finale Litter.
