The 2019 Beezer Bash in Medina, OH added quite a few titles for the Kamar representatives.

In the first ASFA trial, Sol won the Performance Stake and Fly & Sol represented Kamar to win the Breeder and Kennel Stakes. Knots, Sol, Fly, Kelia, Poison and Dean were all in the points for ASFA. Ayla, Phenom and Niko were all in the points for AKC. Shiloh seemed to find his place to shine in racing and Fenix won the (highly coveted!) Turtle award in racing. Karma and Halo also debuted on the coursing field in Singles. Dean and Aiden won their classes in the show ring and Sol was Select and Izzy was AOM. Thea also took part in several events and earned a new Trick Dog title - it was pretty special to see every Kamar litter represented at one event.

This was a very busy weekend, with Kamar Beezers taking part in a six lure coursing trial marathon over the course of four days. We had both ASFA and AKC Specialties with amazing prizes. There were Kamar representatives from almost every litter, and every one of them left with something special.

Some of the notable achievements included Deckard winning BOB during the ASFA Specialty, as well as winning the Bench Stake and the Breeder Stake with his sister, Kelia. Niko won the Performance Stake and the Kennel Stake and also finished his ASFA Field Championship.

For the AKC Specialty, Niko won open for his final major to earn his AKC Field Championship and Dual Championship titles, making him Kenzie's 11th DC offspring, and the 6th from his litter.  He also won the Performance Stake and was overall high scoring male Ibizan for the combined trials and Kelia was the overall high scoring female Ibizan for the combined trials. In addition, Dean and Sol won the Breeder Stake.

Dean also won his second coursing major during the morning trial and is now one point from finishing his AKC Field Championship title. Kona also added multiple points this weekend, putting her closer to her title as well.

Points in ASFA and/or AKC were earned by Kamar Beezers: Sol, Niko, Dean, Kona, Aiden, Deckard, Kelia, Rowan and Jasper. The "Iron Beezer" award was given to dog who ran in every trial. Due to the hard, sandy ground and grueling number of trials, this was a pretty coveted prize. It was won by Kona, Rowan, Aiden and Dean.

 The Beezers had a great year, with Kamar dogs ranking in the Top 20 in AKC and ASFA lure coursing, as well as AKC conformation and AKC Owner Handler series.

It was a great weekend at the ASFA Winter Challenge with lots of Kamar placements.

On Thursday in Open, Sol was second place, Dewey was third and Kelia was fourth. In Veterans, Poison was first, Farrah was second and Kenzie was third.

On Friday in Open, Niko was first place and best of breed, Dewey was second, Sol was third and Aiden was NBQ. In FCH, Kelia was second and Deckard was third. In Veterans, Poison was second place, Farrah was third and Kenzie was fourth. Niko was also Best in Field, making him the sixth BIF winner from the 2013 Grand Finale litter and Kenzie's ninth BIF winning offspring. This also marked Kamar's 50th BIF win.

On Saturday in Open, Dewey was second place, Niko was third, Aiden was fourth and Sol was NBQ. In FCH, Fly was second place, Kelia was third and Norma was fourth. In Veterans, Poison was second place, Kenzie was third and Farrah was fourth. 

In Singles, Jasper was first place Friday and Saturday and Rowan was second place.

In California, Risa was BOB once again!

It was a big weekend of showing and lure coursing. Niko and Lava were Select the first  day of the show and Lava was BOB the second day. In lure coursing, Sol was BOB both days for back to back 5 point majors for her lure coursing debut.  Seren was second place for three more points the first day and Niko was third for two points, Thea was fourth place and Aiden was NBQ - putting Kamar beezers in all the placements out of an entry of 16 dogs. The second day, Niko was third again for two points.

The 2016 Nationals was a big weekend for Kamar, with almost every litter represented.  The week started with Norma in the performance rings, winning the high scoring BN obedience prize and qualifying in agility for second place.  

This was followed by AKC lure coursing, where Norma won the Performance Stake and placed second in her flight. Her brother Niko was fourth in his stake and Thea was fourth place in her stake. 

On the day of the National Specialty, the big excitement of the day was Lava winning Best Of Opposite Sex! Huge congratulations to Alisa on a wonderful job with her! Her brother Niko also made the cut in the breed ring during his debut as a special. Thea and Izzy also won their classes. 

The next day at the supported entry shows, puppy Izzy, from the youngest Kamar litter, wow'd everyone by going WB for her second major! Great job, Sabrina! Lava was also Select.

In ASFA lure coursing, Norma once again won the Performance Stake and was fourth place in her stake. Niko was NBQ.

The Kamar Beezers had a full weekend lure coursing despite hard ground and heat! Ami (2013 Grand Finale Litter) finished her Lure Courser of Merit title, Niko (2013 Grand Finale Litter) picked up a major in AKC and Aiden (2014 Red Litter) earned more points toward his AKC field champion title. Ami, Aiden, Kelia and Deckard all earned more ASFA points as well and Jasper earned points toward his ASFA TCP title.

In Phoenix, AZ - Risa entered a three day cluster and took Select one day and BOS the second and third day. She also won an Owner-Handler Group Three. Congratulations, Brianne! Risa is from the 2013 Grand Finale Litter.

In Atlanta, GA - Jasper and Angel got their second leg in Rally Novice. Wonderful job! Jasper is from the 2014 Red Litter.

Niko QC'd in his first AKC trial and went on to win first place in open on Saturday and second place in open on Sunday for his first three points. Niko is from the 2013 Grand Finale Litter.
